Why is this product worth buying?

Multi-season play – the hoop has been designed for year-round games. Durable materials, thanks to their weather resistance, will provide long-lasting use and great fun. In case of bad weather, you can easily move the set or store it indoors thanks to the built-in wheels that make transport easier.
Safe use – the freestanding construction does not require permanent installation into the ground, allowing safe use on various surfaces. Properly selected materials and solid connections between elements ensure stable gameplay and reduce the risk of the set moving during shots.
Who is it for? – the Meteor Dallas basketball set is an ideal choice for you and your loved ones. Its versatility makes it suitable for teenagers and adults in any place of your choice. In addition, playing together outdoors helps strengthen bonds with family and peers, while offering a healthy alternative to electronic devices and screens.
The right equipment – designed for recreational play. Thanks to the adjustable height (from 160 to 210 cm), the Meteor Dallas set can be individually adapted to the player’s needs.

Ideal for recreational play and training

The Meteor Dallas basketball hoop has been designed for everyday recreational play and shooting practice at home. Its stable construction allows free play without the need for permanent installation, making the Dallas model a practical solution for the garden, driveway or larger indoor spaces.

Adjustable height and versatile use

The set is equipped with a 45 cm diameter rim and a height adjustment system ranging from 160 to 210 cm. This allows the hoop to be easily adjusted to the player’s height and skill level.

The adjustment is quick and intuitive:

simply loosen the safety screws,
set the hoop to the chosen height,
tighten the screws again.

Stable base and solid construction

The set weighs 10 kg, and its stability can be significantly increased by filling the base with water or sand. This effectively prevents the hoop from moving during dynamic play.

The construction consists of:

a steel pole,
a multifunctional base made of PE,
a solid backboard made of PET + PE materials.

Metal supports connecting the base to the pole increase durability and resistance to intensive use.

Durable backboard and weather resistance

The 80 × 60 cm backboard ensures good ball rebound quality. Made from a combination of PET + PE materials, it:

does not absorb water,
is resistant to changing temperatures,
performs well in various weather conditions.

The nylon net is waterproof and suitable for frequent, dynamic shots.

Mobility and easy transport

Built-in transport wheels allow the set to be moved quickly and conveniently. This is a major advantage compared to permanently mounted hoops — it lets you train wherever you like: on a court, at a holiday plot or in the garden.

How to choose a basketball set?

The mini guide below shows what to look for when choosing a freestanding basketball set for recreational play.

Hoop height adjustment – allows the hoop to be adapted to the age and skill level of the players (a practical solution if more than one person will be using the set).

This model offers adjustment in the range of 160–210 cm, making it suitable for both learning and recreational play.

Mounting type – freestanding sets allow play in different locations, while permanently mounted hoops offer greater stability.

The Dallas model is a freestanding set, so it is ideal for the garden, driveway or holiday plot.

Basketball backboard – the construction of the backboard affects durability, stability and ball rebound. The most common materials are PE, PET and tempered glass.

This set uses a combination of PET and PE, ensuring durability and comfortable play.

Base filling – a solid base that can be filled with water or sand. Sand provides maximum stability, while water is easier to fill and is a better option when the play area is changed frequently.

Once filled with water or sand, the base guarantees suitable stability even during dynamic shots.
